Flood Relief Volunteer Opportunities
Westminster Presbyterian Church is a Presbyterian Disaster Assistance site for flood work. Since mid-June over 220 people have volunteered 6,200 hours working on 66 homes in middle Tennessee. How can you be part of this important work?
- Be on their list to receive e-mails requesting volunteers.

- Send an e-mail (with at least 2 days notice) to let them know you are available to volunteer.
- Help them acquire the following frequently-needed materials:
- Drywall in 8 foot x 1/2 inch sheets
- 50 lb. boxes of 1 1/2 inch drywall screws
- Drywall tape
- Low-dust drywall mud
- Paint
- Paint supplies (rollers, pans, good brushes)

Flooding in Middle Tennessee
The weekend of May 8-9, 2010 brought recording flooding to Middle Tennessee. PDA is working with Hands On Nashville to rebuild in the area.
